I just agreed to hold an exhibition consisting solely of my photographs. The exhibition will include 8 photos, probably industrial imagery. If you have any suggestions on which I should choose, feel free to give me a hint. I'm thinking there should be some older shots too, ranging from 2006 to this day.
And now that I think about printing my images, should I have a prints account here in dA? I've been pretty strict about uploading photographs only in small size (800 x sumthin'

, because I haven't wanted to think about their printability. So, prints, anyone? Worth the trouble? I do enjoy most of my art digitally, and love it. I don't have to OWN the art to enjoy it, let alone carry it from one place to another (when moving, for instance). Owning sucks anyway.

Well, the trouble that it's worth is comparable to.. something that's not hard. It takes about ten seconds more than the normal procedure. Besides you don't have to resize your pics in advance, DA nowadays does it for you. I always just send them in full resolution. And you can always uncheck the download option if that's what you're worried about. To put it short, yes it's worth the trouble.
If you want to print your own pics then I think it's better to do it in Finland (I don't think they even ship there in DA)
Now then, owning does sometimes suck. But I'd rather look at my pics on the wall that on a screen. They don't take that much room anyways (and you can always throw them away and replace with new ones if you want to refresh your walls when moving). But we're still waiting for the omnipotent Box that does it all. Any progress with that?

I miss photography. I've been away from it for too long.
